ATF 2025
Together to Co-Create Innovative Solutions for a Resilient and Sustainable Africa

Engaged in critical discussions on sustainable transitions in Africa, the International Institute for Sustainable Transitions in Africa has, since its establishment, launched its flagship initiative, the Africa Transition Forum (ATF).
More than just an event, the forum aims to explore the solutions and paradoxes associated with sustainable transitions, while shedding light on the specific challenges and opportunities unique to Africa. Its primary objective is to highlight the importance of innovative and sustainable actions in building a resilient and inclusive future. The ATF seeks to delineate a vision for a future where Africa, leveraging its human and natural resources, will overcome its challenges while capitalizing on its distinct advantages.
Thus, the ATF serves as both a call to action and a catalyst for innovation, bringing together distinguished speakers from across the continent and the international community, alongside government representatives, strategic partners, and civil society actors.
The second edition of the Africa Transition Forum (ATF 2025) will be centered around the theme: “Innovative Solutions to Africa’s Challenges: Demography, Urbanization, and Climate Change.” This theme will address the critical issues the continent is currently facing.
The event will take place from October 26 to 28, 2025, in Marrakech, Morocco, a symbolic venue conducive to discussions on sustainable transition, offering an inspiring and innovative environment.
We eagerly anticipate welcoming you to this landmark event, where new perspectives and valuable collaborations will unfold.
